Events and Projects
We host one of Australia’s most popular ACT Seasonal Antiques Fairs - in Spring and Autumn each year, which are highlights on the events calendar in Canberra.
We run the annual Canberra Careers Market/ Careers Xpo, as a vocational project, in a joint venture with the ACT Government’s Department of Education and Training. The Careers Xpo has been the recipient of multiple District Vovational Service Awards for the event, which showcases a wide range of career pathways, and provides a valuable experience for students, parents, teachers, careers advisors and career changers.
Projects like these enable us to support charities or our own community based projects.
We meet each Tuesday night at The Pavillion, 242 Northbourne Avenue, Australia, starting at 6.30 and finishing by 8.00 pm. We invite fascinating speakers on topics ranging from the world’s biggest telescope project in Chile to living in Mongolia and Finland and controversial topics such as global warming and the state of world economics. Great for updating your self in a fun social group.
